Lightweight Explosion-proof Material For Oil Tanks
Simply put, this product acts as a "safety guardian" that requires no maintenance once installed. It does not participate in combustion itself; instead, it prevents explosions by physically compartmentalizing the space. We injection-mold this special polymer into hollow spheres featuring a skeletal framework and place them inside oil tanks. Under normal conditions, they float like small balls on the surface, affecting neither the fuel capacity nor the flow of oil through the pump. Crucially, if a tanker overturns and catches fire, or is subjected to extreme heat (such as an 800°C blaze), the spheres instantly block the propagation path of explosive shockwaves. No cleanup is required after use; they can simply be discarded along with the tank itself.

Product Features
Open-work skeletal structure
Allows liquid to flow freely while partitioning the tank's large "vapor space" into countless tiny, honeycomb-like compartments, preventing flames from spreading.
Anti-static properties
Pure plastic is prone to static electricity - a major hazard in fuel tanks. We therefore incorporate conductive materials during production to ensure that friction between the spheres and the fuel does not generate sparks.

Thin-walled and lightweight
Although the spheres are sizable, their thin-walled, hollow design makes them extremely light. Even when a tank is fully packed, the spheres occupy less than 5% of the total volume, having virtually no impact on the net cargo weight.
High chemical resistance
They do not dissolve, shrink, or produce impurities that could clog fuel lines, even after prolonged immersion in gasoline or diesel.
Product Advantages
Proven resilience against extreme fire: We conducted direct comparative tests. Following national standard GB14372-2005, we subjected a fuel tank filled to half-capacity to an 800°C open flame for 30 minutes. The contrast between the untreated and treated tanks is striking: the untreated tank exploded instantly, whereas the treated tank - containing the suppression spheres - only burned on the surface without suffering a catastrophic explosion.

Maintenance-free: Unlike many safety devices that require periodic replacement, this product does not. Due to its exceptional chemical stability, it can remain functional inside an oil tank for eight to ten years, provided it is not shattered by violent external impact.
Dual protection: It not only blocks explosive shockwaves but also inhibits bacterial growth during transport, preventing fuel degradation caused by microorganisms.

FAQ
Q1: Does the product have the international safety certifications required for export?
We manufacture in strict accordance with GB standards. If international certifications such as UL or ATEX are required, we can assist in sending samples to a designated third-party laboratory for testing and report issuance.
Q2: How are they put into the tank? How are they removed during future tank cleaning?
They can be poured directly through the manhole for loose filling. During tank cleaning, simply rinse with a high-pressure water jet and scoop them out through the manhole; they do not interfere with internal piping or oil pumps.
Q3: Will they crumble and produce debris that clogs the oil filter after being submerged in fuel for years?
No. They are made via injection molding using highly oil-resistant modified polymers. The size of each unit exceeds the mesh size of the oil filter; they are resistant to immersion, do not crack or shed debris, and have a design service life of up to 10 years.
Q4: Will filling the tank with this material significantly reduce the amount of fuel I can transport?
No. The spheres are thin-walled and hollow, occupying less than 5% of the total tank volume. Taking a 20-ton tank as an example, the maximum loss in transport capacity is less than 1 ton-a negligible cost compared to the potential loss from a tank rupture.
Q5: Can I use this for tanks that sometimes hold gasoline and other times hold alcohol or chemicals?
It is compatible with common light petroleum fuels (gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene, etc.). It is strictly prohibited for use with tanks containing strong acids, strong alkalis, or highly oxidizing chemicals; please consult customer service to confirm suitability for specific substances.
