Explosion-proof oil storage tanks are widely used in situations with extremely high safety requirements, such as: Underground oil storage tanks at gas stations, petrochemical enterprises, aviation fuel depots at airports, strategic petroleum reserve facilities, any place that stores volatile, flammable liquids like gasoline, diesel, kerosene, crude oil, etc.
Explosion Proof Gas Station Components
Nitrogen seal system: Inert gas (usually nitrogen) is filled into the gas phase space at the top of the tank (the space between the floating disc and the tank roof).
Oil and gas recovery system: During the loading and unloading process, the emitted oil and gas are collected and recovered as liquid oil through absorption, adsorption, or condensation methods, instead of being discharged into the atmosphere. This is both safe and environmentally friendly.
